Doppler Automotive Product Design

No Hassle. No Pressure. No Fees. No, Really.

Traditional car buying was built around the dealership not the customer. Doppler set out to flip that entirely: bringing on-demand test drives directly to the consumer, anywhere, anytime. The challenge was designing a platform experience that could make that promise feel as seamless as it sounded, building trust in a category historically defined by friction.

The Doppler app was the front door to a promise — no hassle, no pressure, no fees. The solution was to design an experience so clear and frictionless that the anxiety people carry into car buying simply had nowhere to land. Every screen was built around one question: what is the least amount of effort this person should have to make right now? Scheduling, browsing, and committing to a vehicle had to feel as natural and low-stakes as any consumer app people already trusted. The app did not just facilitate a transaction, it set the emotional tone for an entirely new kind of automotive relationship, one that continued through delivery, service, and every touchpoint that followed.The result: 97% customer satisfaction.
